The Indonesian Journal of Statistics and Its Applications (IJSA) follows the principles of the  Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure integrity, transparency, and professionalism in scholarly publishing.

! Misconduct Handling

IJSA takes publication ethics seriously. Allegations such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or redundant publication will be carefully investigated.

Investigation: Authors will be contacted for clarification and supporting evidence.
Actions: The journal may reject submissions, retract publications, or notify relevant institutions.

Authors' Responsibilities

Authorship & Originality

  • Manuscripts must be original and properly cite all sources.
  • All listed authors must have made significant contributions.
  • Submission to multiple journals simultaneously is not allowed.
  • All authors must approve the final manuscript.

Ethics & Data Integrity

  • Research data must be accurate and not manipulated.
  • Data should be retained and made available when required.
  • Human or animal studies must have ethical approval.
  • Conflicts of interest and funding sources must be disclosed.

Editors' Responsibilities

  • Decisions are based on academic merit, originality, and relevance.
  • Manuscripts are evaluated fairly without discrimination.
  • Confidentiality of submissions must be maintained.
  • Editors must avoid conflicts of interest.
  • Ethical issues will be investigated and addressed appropriately.

Reviewers' Responsibilities

Reviewers contribute to editorial decisions by providing objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of manuscripts.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts.
  • Provide fair and unbiased reviews.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest.
  • Identify relevant work not cited by the authors.
