Indonesian Journal of Statistics and Its Applications (IJSA) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to advancing the fields of statistical methodology and data science applications. Established to serve as a reputable platform for statisticians and data scientists, the journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The journal is published three times a year, with regular issues released in June and December, alongside Special Issues. It is committed to disseminating high-quality scientific research and fosters scholarly exchange within the realm of theoretical statistics, applied statistics, and data analytics. The journal's scope includes a wide array of scientific contributions, particularly in the form of original research articles, methodological reviews, and data science case studies.

In terms of recognition and academic standing, IJSA has earned accreditation from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia. The journal has been accredited as SINTA 3, outlined in Decree No. 14/E/KPT/2019, which is a testament to its scholarly impact and the quality of its published works in the national and international statistical community.

The journal is hosted and managed by the Statistics & Data Science Program Study at School of Data Science, Mathematics and Informatics (SSMI), IPB University. It operates in close collaboration with the Indonesian Statistical Society (ISI/Ikatan Statistisi Indonesia) and the Forum of Higher Education in Statistics (FORSTAT), fostering a multidisciplinary approach to the advancement of statistics and data science in Indonesia.
